Watching a film tonight (Meet Jo Black - Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins) I was interested to note that the song “Happy Birthday to You” is appears in the song credits at the end as being written by Mildred J Hill and Patty Smith Hill.
Here’s what I found after googling it.
Happy Birthday to You, the four-line ditty was written as a classroom greeting in 1893 by two Louisville teachers, Mildred J. Hill, an authority on Negro spirituals, and Dr. Patty Smith Hill, professor emeritus of education at Columbia University.
The melody of the song Happy Birthday to You was composed by Mildred J. Hill, a schoolteacher born in Louisville, KY, on June 27, 1859. The song was first published in 1893, with the lyrics written by her sister, Patty Smith Hill, as “Good Morning To All.”
What’s next? Crediting the composer of Jingle Bells each Christmas?

I have decided to learn how to use a cut throat - or ’straight edge’ razor.
I tried to take a picture of my first large shaving cut, but it didnt come out very well - the ambulance was moving to fast for me to take a steady shot.
Anyway - all healed up now, and in actual fact I start each day looking forward to putting into practive the lessons I learnt the hard way the morning before.
I would recomend any man tries it - release the inner Clint Eastwood in you! (or at least some of the inner blood in you).
I have ordered an antique cut throat from ebay to replace this rather cheap one (pictured). Hopefully it will enhance my shaving experience. Or remove my adams apple.

What really pisses me off is the fact that I never bloody use buslanes - just dipped into one to under-take some stationary traffic and - SNAP - Ken is £50 richer.
Ironically, this is the only shot I have of me on my bike.

‘Artist’ Mark McGowan is leaving a tap on for a year to highlight how much water is wasted in London.
I won’t even bother commenting on this guy - other than to say, he’s a tit.
