Mitchell's obviously an extremely clever bloke - witness his annihilation of Jonathan Ross last week - but his one comedy "riff" seems to be to take an idea and then expand / reduce it to absurdity, rather than letting a sketch develop. There are a couple of good bits - "Sir Digby Chicken Caesar" is quite amusing - but by and large, it's fairly studenty. And I remember that M*A*s*H - it was a TK (telecine) goof - 2 soundtracks on the film, they played the wrong track by mistake. I remember switching off in disgust after 5 minutes.
