The BBC is brainwashing us

Go with me on this…

I often watch the weather forecast on the BBC.
I never watch ITV weather because

  1. I dont like the shit sponsorship stings that ALWAYS end with ‘producing <insert product here> whatever the weather‘)
  2. The huge bright graphics that give me a headache
  3. ITV tells lies

Anywho, the BBC is brainwashing me. I can’t be sure, but I have noticed that, even though I tune in to watch it (to see if I need to dig out my cycling waterproofs tomorrow) I can never remember the end. I always seem to remember the oddly different weather conditions effecting the far north of Scotland but I can never remember what London will be doing by lunch time.

So what are the BBC doing with these lost minutes? Maybe they are poisoning my mind against ITV, who are in truth purveyors of quality programming and high quality dramas, news and documentaries.
Yes, that must be it - surely ITV can’t be the constant stream of foetid shite I think it is. I think I’ll turn over.

Oh. It is shite.

The BBC are brainwashing me, but the content of the cephalic cleaning remains a mystery. I’m sure it’s for my own good.

Pinochet has heart attack, Barrymore welcomes enquiry.

Pinochet, the former Chilean dictator and close friend of former British dictator, Margaret Thatcher, has had a heart attack. I wasn’t aware that there was anything suspicious about the elderly tyrant slowly slipping away peacefully in his millionaire fortress retreat, but apparently Michael Barrymore is looking forward to an inquiry.
