Hang on, I’ve got it. They know that we’re all going be annihilated in a nuclear war with Russia long before 2012, so they knocked one out (again, I use the phrase etc etc) and are spending the £400,000 on parting like it’s 1999.

How can you wish such an inclusive, accessible, youth orientated, elderly friendly, pan-cultural, multi-ethnic, inspiring and stimulating (in a non-threatening non-sexual way) event anything but well?

I think your attitude is very mean spirited. I mean, it’s almost as if you resent the 7 billion odd quid of the nations’ money being spent by a bunch of out of touch media whores and had been politicians.
