Stocked up

One of the good things about this house is the larder - I feel that I have done my best to put as many things in jars as I can for the winter months. The squash crop has been a bit disappointing - only two green ones (can’t remember what they were) and one butternut.
Maybe there will be a couple more before the weather gets two cold, but at the moment they seem to be getting to about 10cm and then rotting off.

That looks very comforting - we have a similar larder, without the squashes. Talking of which, I have one kicking round from our veg box and have no idea what to do with it - do you have any suggestions?
