Geotag!

This is the best and easiest to use Flickr tool I have ever seen.

You follow this link, drag the suggested bookmarklet onto your links toolbar and it’s done. Then whenever you upload a Flickr photo (if you can be arsed) you click the link and it turns your photo into a mini google map. Click the place on the map where you took the photo and it automatically geo-tags your image and inserts a link into the description field.

I realise that as I am typing this I am making it sound complicated - it isn’t. Start geotagging!

yes well some of us were geotagging flickr pix before Flickr hired the geotagging guy and took it all in-house… (takes out pipe and knocks it on a small child’s head)

Yes - and I’m still angry that all those so called ‘personal computers’ like IBM compatibles and Apple Mac’s stole the idea of using a mouse from the Xerox Star 8010.

Grrrr. I hate them so much.

Ah, now funny you should mention that, I have a Xerox Star manual somewhere…
